As a surrogate, you will carry the child of a couple who is unable to carry a child on their own. A woman is typically motivated to be a surrogate by having empathy for childless couples, enjoying and having easy pregnancies of her own, and the opportunity to make a unique and special contribution as well as realize financial gain for her own family.

If you are a healthy woman in your childbearing years, we would love to meet with you to discuss the opportunity. Based on our years of experience, we have identified some basic requirements, which must be met before a candidate can begin the screening process. After meeting with you and discussing these requirements and what is involved you will better be able to determine whether surrogacy is the right decision for you and your family. If after careful consideration you are serious about pursuing this and have determined that the time is right, you will be given the opportunity to meet potential couples that may be interested in "commissioning" you as a surrogate mother for their child.

Once you are "matched" with a couple a fertility doctor will perform a complete physical examination and blood-work on you to confirm your eligibility in the program. After being approved by the fertility doctor, and after a psychological exam, you will begin a series of injections that will prepare your uterus for the acceptance of the embryo(s). You will need to be available for blood testing and ultrasounds during the embryo transfer process. At Families Through Surrogacy, LLC we are available to help you through the process and provide the emotional and material support necessary to see you through this unique and wonderful opportunity.

Aside from the satisfaction of giving the gift of life to a wonderful couple, you will be compensated for your living expenses throughout the process. Average compensation is approximately $20,000 for qualified candidates.
